Corporate services supports the University's mission by providing practical, solutions-focused legal advice on a wide range of institutional matters. We work in partnership with departments and units across the University to support day-to-day operations, major initiatives, and evolving priorities. Our approach balances legal risk with institutional goals, helping you make informed decisions with confidence.

What We Do

We offer legal support and advice in areas including:

• Contract Drafting, Review, and Negotiation
  Supporting a broad array of agreements, including academic, commercial, experiential learning, procurement, real estate and donor contracts.
  
  
• Risk Identification and Mitigation
  Helping identify legal risks and opportunities early in the process and recommending strategies to manage or reduce exposure.
  
  
• Internal Stakeholder Support
  Assisting units in navigating University policies, developing legal processes, and connecting with relevant internal resources (e.g., Procurement, Privacy, Risk, Information Technology).
  
  
• Practicum and Placement Agreements
  Managing and advising on agreements related to student placements and experiential learning.
